My new book, The Killing Fields of East New York: The First Subprime Mortgage Scandal, a White-Collar Crime Spree, and the Collapse of an American Neighborhood, which was chosen as an NPR 2025 “Books We Love,” came out in paperback on February 3, 2026! So most of the events are over for now.
