It’s Raining in NYC
And it shut down this movie shoot on Perry Street. I guess I didn’t really need to post three photographs of it, but I liked the Perry Street in the rain look.
A blog about New York City, my books, and my cats. Mostly.

I forget why I climbed up on my kitchen counter, but I liked how my apartment looked from up there. Except there are two areas of clutter that are bugging me. The coffee table, and the wires under my desk.
I have tried repeatedly but I have never been able to make those wires look neat. It drives me nuts. The coffee table I can do something about.
I quit. Yes, never mind the HUGE container of sunflower seeds hanging behind you. The one that has been there for the taking for the past two months.
That’s right little guy. Almost there.
Oh thank God. Finally. I have managed to feed a bird.
What!
Is!
IT???
I didn’t kill it.
Cool wings, though.
It doesn’t look quite real, does it?
Okay.
Back to Season 1 of Big Bang Theory.
I wish this picture wasn’t out of focus.
It’s bugging me.
And I can’t get the bug back for take 2.
Thank GOD.
It’s so easy to get lost in research. In fact, I’m going to dive right back in. But I wanted to post this picture I took of 50th Street, off Beekman Place. It was such a lush, pretty block. I walked back down it a couple of hours later, when it was night, and the block felt positively enchanting. I made a little movie, but it didn’t come out alas. But I think you can imagine it, from this picture.
