Buddy update: He’s been on the metronidazole for ten days and it hasn’t had any effect. I’m going to call the vet today to discuss.

something to think over with your vet – if there’s a low-grade lymphoma or other possibility of cancer, trying chemo might be an option. Cats take chemo really really well, so it’s not at all scary.

Thank you Melissa. I left a message for my vet and that is one of the things I asked him if we should investigate. I’m waiting to hear back.
