No Work Today

This fire hydrant was in the woods between three houses on Edsall Avenue and the Harlem River. It was weird. It wasn’t all that far from the houses, but it was at the bottom of a hill. There must have been another road at some point.

Today is a day off! I’m thinking I’ll go out and get a Cosi sandwich and come back and watch movies on my computer. Not very ambitious, I know.

  1. Lately a lot of your pictures have been very rural looking.

I’ve been very surprised. I always think of New York City as being buildings and concrete as far as the eye can see.

When I was there mostly I was in Manhatten and Queens, and of course I didn’t see any forests growing around there!

It’s refreshing to know that you can kind of get out of the ‘big city’ ambiance even in New York City.
