Bali and Bodhi were kinda ratty looking when I adopted them. Some people at the ASPCA were a little surprised when I picked them, because there were so many ridiculously cute kittens I could have taken instead. But for those who don’t know the back story, Bodhi almost died on my watch (I was working at the ASPCA Kitten Nursery). When he pulled through I had to take him, and I couldn’t leave his brother Bali alone, so I took them both.

He does look like a little orphan I guess, but so adorable with his big blue eyes! You saved the two brothers from being passed over time and time again perhaps, as they wait in cages to be adopted. They have grown into beautiful cats. Who knew? 🙂
Oh, I like that way of looking at it. Maybe they would have been passed over. They were charming babies though. I showered them with so much love at the nursery they purred loudly the second anyone touched them or picked them up. It was irresistible.
Beautiful is as beautiful does.
Give me a scraggly purrer over a disdainful hottie anytime! (In people or kitty cats.)
Me too!! But sometimes you get a sweet sweet one that is beautiful too.
