Moments of Glory

As I’ve been posting, we’ve been rehearsing Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis for months, and the moment of truth is at hand. The performance is Friday!  Today, I sat in on the rehearsal with the orchestra and soloists.  Aren’t they amazing? I point out the et vitam venturi fugue I’ve been freaking out about. Can you tell how hard that is??

Clean Windows

This picture of the plant hanging in the front of my apartment was taken from the bedroom, looking through the bedroom window, across the airshaft, and finally through the kitchen window.  Impressively clean windows, no??

This Week is Going to be Insanely Busy

In a good way.  I’ve got two interviews about the book, all this choir stuff (two orchestra rehearsals we’re allowed to sit in on).  First up, today!  I’ve being interviewed on the Faith Middleton Show, the window cleaners come this afternoon and therapy after (interesting combo).  I took this picture on Fifth Avenue. Wouldn’t it be great to live on that top floor?
