To Do

– Read Persinger interview carefully.

– Prepare blog posts for Unbelievable.

– Send out email about paperback (I apologize in advance if you’re on my email list).

– Return phone calls.

– Go through cat sitting business to-do list. Ohmygod, a nested loop! My to-do list gets recursive!

– Find another place to get a price quote for injection molding.

– Pitch articles to ***** Magazine.

Finney has the most expressive face, doesn’t he? Look at him. God, I do love the furballs.

  1. Go get ’em tiger! I’m excited about your book going into paperback. I know people who buy paperbacks that would never consider purchasing a hardback if their life depended on it.

It’s also another marker of value that the publishing company assigns to your work. A long time ago I mentioned that it’s serious enough for a scrupulous researcher and yet at the same time lively and readable enough to pick up at the airport. I’ve got my fingers crossed.

I direct your attention to your winter photograph of March 6. This is one of the most evocative winter scenes that I have ever seen. Obviously the arch of the trees and the narrow walkway bordered by white snow draws one into the depth of the photograph. The snowflakes reflecting off lights and the winter scene in the dank atmostphere surround the whole photograph with an interesting mood.

I’ll bet there are photographic artists who have waited for days to get a shot like that. If you ever decide to sell copies for a reasonable price, let me know.

  2. Oh dear! I would have jut given it to you but I didn’t save a hi-res verion, alas.
