And another horrible heat wave. Did I mention I’m not good in the heat? God, I hate it. I prefer beaches at night and in the winter. I also have to do a laundry tonight. Timing-wise tonight is the only time that’s going to work for me in the next few days.
I took this picture of a building at the corner where 7th Avenue, Greenwich and 11th meet. A horrible corner, by the way, crossing the street-wise. I took it because I don’t think I ever quite looked up at the brick building and noticed its Flatiron building-like shape.
Stacy, it is cold and rainy here, the middle of New Zealand winter,
I would love to walk the hot streets of NYC! And while that intersection is a bitch to cross it leads to great local shops, a vanishing breed! Miss you—-Kim from Oscar Wilde Bookshop.
Kim, hi!!!! I miss you too!! How are you doing!! Please send me pictures of where you are and I will post them!!
What a neat photo! So colorful–yellow taxi, green sign, red car, girl in rainbow striped shirt. And lots going on–dogs crossing, guy half off his bike, and then the interesting building…
Oh, and the red stop light, and the yellow caution light…
Thank you!! That picture actually inspired me to try to focus on the people more instead of the building.
