Betsy sent this link to me: Pictures That Will Restore Your Faith in Humanity.
I loved them all, two made me cry (and they weren’t one involving animals, surprisingly). It made me want to do something so kind it made others cry. My new goal! Make people cry.
A picture from April. I was walking down the west side, along the Hudson River, taking “before” pictures of One World Trade Center. This was one of the rejects, but it has a dog in it.
Thanks for the pictures. I have had a bad week and this will make you cry; I had to euthanize my oldest cat (she was 17) Monday. She was perfectly healthy up until that day when she collapsed. The vet thinks a stroke. At least I could ensure that she had a good and painless death.
Oh my god, Karen. I’m so sorry, how awful. I mean, long painful deaths suck, but still, what a shock. Ugh, it’s just so sad. I can only say how sorry I am, and I know exactly how painful this is and how much you can miss and mourn a cat (any pet really). Oh, that last day. it’s just such a sad decision to have to make. Well, good for you for doing what you had to do, it’s the price of love as they say, this other side of it. But I’m sorry.
