I’m relaxing on the couch with Finney, working on my book (it makes me happy, even though it’s not a happy book). But here is Bleecker, in attack mode. Any second now he will jump up and any sense of peace will be shot. For the millionth time I will say to Finney, “I am so sorry for bringing the monster into the house.”

Actually this isn’t any different at my house and the fighting is between two sisters, Dixie and Weezie. Most of the time I ignore them as does their mama, Bunny, but when it gets really out of control she jumps in and swats both of them. This is why no Christmas tree will be put up this year.
So, it may not be because they are brothers from a different mother, but a clash of personalities. Sure is a clash here at my house.
I can never have Christmas trees either!! So no fair, but a worthy sacrifice. I’d rather have the animals than a tree.
