Pope Fever

I admit it. I’m getting a little caught up in the visit of Pope Francis. Maybe I’ll try to catch a glimpse on Friday. That reminds me! I was there when Pope John Paul came to Boston in 1979 and I got a picture of him. What on earth did I do with that??

I should remember, whenever I’m agonizing about all the animals I can’t have, that I have this face to come home to. Hello little man.

  1. I listened to his speech this morning and I thought it was very good. I saw Pope John Paul in 1979 in Harlem. It was a fabulous experience, partially because I was the only white person in my area… I had so many great conversations with the people around me… Plus I got to stand on a police car!
Francis really generates so much positive energy.
    Do you brush Bleek?

  2. My cat is getting rather natty, especially after I gave him a bath a few nights ago. You can only do one thing at a time or they freak.

  3. I never give my cats baths, although I’m tempted to give one to Finney. Now that he’s old his coat isn’t as nice as it once was, and maybe he can’t take care of like he used to due to arthritis.

Does your cat hate being brushed? Maybe Charlie can try?
