A sign I passed by on 11th Street, in the West Village. This building has had great Halloween decorations the past couple of years (maybe for more years, but my memory only goes back two apparently). They also have a lovely garden (scroll down to see). Thank you for the encouragement!

These pictures are so beautiful. Thank you for posting them. We’re actually getting another polar vortex in MAY here in WI–temps to be below freezing overnight this weekend. So our flowers are slow in getting going. Glad it looks more springlike elsewhere.
Wait, are you going to get snow? I think I read about this.
We’re not on for snow, just freezing temps, which blows, because I have a little row of lettuce growing in my backyard and I love that plucky little row of lettuce. And also it really sucks for all the farmers, and if fruit trees were in bloom, it’ll destroy the crop for the year. Just because we needed some more difficulties right about now.
I read part of NY could get snow! Is that still happening? Are you cold in NYC? https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2020/05/07/polar-vortex-east-extreme-heat-west/
