Looking for Jim Herrmann

Gaither Pratt, one of the scientists from the Duke Parapsychology Lab, went out to Seaford, Long Island in 1958 to investigate some disturbances at the house of Air France employee James Herrmann.

I’m hoping to find one of the kids, Jimmy, who was 12 at the time, or his sister Lucille, 13. They’d be 59 and 60 now (more or less). Here’s a picture of Jimmy from a Newsday article.

  1. Stacy,
I listened to this story on my local NPR station and that is how I eventually found your blog. I think you did a great job investigating and writing about this – fair and interesting = Well done.
