I’m nervous about tomorrow. Tomorrow is my first time giving a tour of ground zero. I’m just the support tour guide, not the main one, and I’ll do this until they think I’m ready to lead the tour, but still. I’m still scared. And I still have to tell my 9/11 story. SCARY.
You’ll do great. I’m sure your easy, intimate story-telling style from WFMCTD and this blog will translate well to being a guide and relating your personal 911 story. Maybe when I come to NY next Spring I can take your tour!
I feel exhausted too. So much emotional baggage for the last, uh, two years. For the first time in ages, I feel like I can let go of the worries.
