Collyer Conditions in a Car
I was talking about Collyer conditions not too long ago—that’s the name the FDNY gives to apartments so filled with junk and piles of newspapers, etc., they have trouble moving around. It’s from the Collyer Brothers (you can google them for the whole sad story). Well, I passed a car that was packed like that, except for the driver’s seat.
Love A Man and His Pet
I know activists are upset that Biden got his new puppy from a pet store, which means he’s a puppy mill puppy, and I’m with them on this, we have to stop creating a market for these poor dogs (the lives the puppy mothers lead is a downright sin, I mean really a sin, the cruelty is beyond comprehension). But I just can’t bring myself to crucify the guy. I know it’s wrong, he knows it’s wrong, but he must have really loved this puppy. (And look at the little guy. That is one freaking cute puppy.)
Don’t Mess With NYC Shoppers
These guys were in front of Lord & Taylors, along with another guy and a barking (but still very cute) German Shepherd. Why? Wait, those patches are not NYPD. Who are these guys?
Anyway, the NYPD arrested two men in connection with the muggings in the neighborhood. They’re still warning us to be careful because not all the muggings were the same, some were with guns and some weren’t for instance. They’re not absolutely convinced it was the same guys for all of them. Still, progress.
The two men were spotted at 12th and 8th Avenue (very close!) and they took off running the minute the police looked at them. They were chased and arrested by cops from the 6th Precinct. Thank you, NYPD!
I’m Nervous, I Admit It
I’m heading up to my publisher this afternoon to shoot a few videos that will be sent to various online booksellers. I think there’s a reason I’m a writer. I kinda like to hide out.
Meanwhile, more shots of last night’s snowfall. I’m putting these together because I shot them through the trees and they look like I took them in the country.
