I've written six non-fiction books, the most recent is Damnation Island: Poor, Sick, Mad, and Criminal in 19th-Century New York.

Stacy, You are so sweet! Better stay away from “stuffed animals” in natural history exhibits from now on. I’m pretty much the same way. People like us should stick to zoos where all the animals are still alive!
