Those Poor People

I was passing by the building where Carrie lived in Sex and the City and they were doing a photo shoot (not with anyone from the movie as far as I could tell). Someone watching said the woman who owns that building hates all the fans and everything to do with the show with a white hot passion. I don’t know how true that is. I’m sure she’s paid for this and when her building was used for the show (and movies). But I can certainly understand how after all these years she (and all her neighbors) have had enough. People still come to this block every day and take pictures even though she’s put up a chain blocking the stoop.

But personally I cannot wait to see the next movie!!

  1. Yes, I can see that being a hassle for landlord/tenants, but I’m with you: Anxiously awaiting “Sex&City 2″…have followed those friends from the beginning!

  2. I’m kinda meh about “Sex and the City” (probably has something to do with those shoes, like we discussed in an earlier post), but really enjoyed “City Island” with Andy Garcia and Julianna Margulies (I have a real girl crush on Julianna).

You should go see it if you haven’t already. Cute comedy that has been really under the radar. It won the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival.

  3. Karen, thanks for reminding me because I really do want to see that.

Cara, the first review I read was not good!! I don’t care though. I miss the girls.
