American Idol – Eh

Sorry. I miss Simon. Not mean Simon, but direct Simon, and honest Simon. And Simon with a bit of life to him. It feels so bland and limp without him. The others just don’t have his presence. And I feel mean saying this because he seems like such a decent guy, but grandfatherly-looking Steven Tyler flirting with teenagers, and the repetitive scream/singing, which he does very well, all has to stop.

There used to be a building on this corner, where that crane is now. Even though I’ve probably passed it by thousands of times over 30 years, I don’t remember what was there. What can I say? I pass by thousands and thousands of buildings.

  1. I stopped watching seven years ago. I think it funny that the last AI who sold well was Chris Daughtrey and he was a runner up from five years ago.

As a bit of trivia, Chris lives here in Greensboro and was one of the mechanics at my Honda dealer, so it is possible he worked on my Civic before he got famous.

  2. Cool! I don’t know if I’ll keep watching. It all depends of the finalists really. But I watched the next night and I enjoyed it even less.
