It’s an historic day. I’ve fallen in love with our president all over again. Good for you, Mr. President. (And you too, Biden, for hurrying this along.) Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking a stand and doing the right thing. It’s a great day for civil rights.

Yes, but I need to find another state to move to after the passage of Admendment 1 here in North Carolina. It was even the first comment out of my 80 y.o. mother’s mouth this morning, too.
I hope things change in our lifetime, Stacey. I doubt it will happen for my mother.
What happened in North Carolina was terribly sad. But I took heart in the fact that 40% voted against the amendment, and won’t it be challenged anyway?
