Birthday Flowers

I was feeling bad so I bought roses to cheer myself up (I call them birthday flowers because I’m still calling it my birthday until the 4th of July). I also went swimming, cleaned my house more thoroughly than my usual weekly cleaning, ran errands (so I’d feel productive) went to my monthly mediation meeting, and had extra dessert.

Feeling okay is sometimes a lot of work.

  1. I am sorry you were feeling bad. Good choices with the things you did to help yourself feel better. Feeling productive is an important component of feeling better. I also find that taking a long walk is helpful.
