I was just talking on Echo about how I covet this painting by my friend Cricket Coleman, but her mother got it first. I still haven’t recovered from that disappointment. Here it is. This should be mine.

Ooh, I love it too. Now that’s two of us coveting it. It looks as if it should be a tiny little painting. How big is it?
I leave tomorrow for your wonderful city! I’m so excited 🙂 My friend and I are staying at a little place near Washington Square. I’m going to keep my eyes out for you 🙂
Wow! I’m not far from there! What are your plans for this visit?
This will be our third visit (my best friend from highschool and I have decided to meet in NYC every 2 years until we are too old to do so) so a lot of the “big tourist things” have already been checked off the list. This time I hope to slow down a little. Will visit MOMA and the Neue Gallery both of which I love, see In the Heights, get my hair cut (!) and spend time just exploring the streets of the neighbourhood. I’m tempted to stick WFMCTD (still in my Top 5 Books list) in my bag so if I run into you I can get you to sign it!
Thanks Stacy!! it’s a small painting, maybe 8″ square.
Hi Cricket!!
Nadine, I would love to sign your copy of my book. Where are you getting your haircut and when?
