Stacy in Blue

Matthew Shapoff took a picture a friend had taken of me in college (Sandra Whaley) and reinterpreted the image using the cyanotype method. You can see more of Matt’s work here. Thank you, Matt. It’s quite beautiful!

My plan for the day: write write write, then venture out and explore Bleecker Street for Fashion’s Night Out. Hopefully I will be back with lots of pictures of very well-dressed people.

  1. I do. I kick myself that I didn’t buy more of my fellow Museum School student’s work, when it was affordable. Relatively. Actually, the remedy is to buy student’s work now.

  2. The blue tinting makes yoou look saintly and other wordly.

I love it, though I love the originals too.

And I agree, we should be scouting out student art work, helping them establish themselves while beautifying( sometimes controvercially) our living spaces.
