  1. It’s the week of the performance. Rehearsals on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, followed by concert on Wednesday. I’m excited to work with Marin Alsop and Metropolitan Opera bass-baritone Ryan McKinny, the Soloists for William Walton’s Belshazzar’s Feast. Sad news from the National Symphony: Michael Tilson Thomas, who’d been scheduled to guest conduct the National Symphony Orchestra for a couple of performances later this month has had to withdraw for health reasons. I had the great fortune of singing Mahler 2 under his direction. He is amazing!

    Best wishes, Gregg

  2. I always enjoy your great Halloween pictures from your neighborhood. Yes, I remember seeing that scary baby in years past. Thanks for posting as always.

  3. Hi Gregg. I’m sorry to hear about Michael Tilson. Love Marin Alsop! What fun you have ahead.

Rebecca, thank you so much for continuing to stop by and checking out my pictures. I still have fun taking them.
