Writing Break

I’m here because I’m tired and I’m afraid. I had what I thought was a great idea for the last third of this chapter, and I still think it’s a good idea, but now I’m doubting my ability to pull it off. It could be this beautiful, lyrical thing, or it could be stupid, sentimental and weird.

I want to go to the movies.

Anyway, I took this picture on the way to the subway. Or, I was following balloon man, hoping he’d lose a few balloons in my direction.

  1. Sorry this is so off topic, but how’s Finney? Inquiring minds want to know (at least this one).

Keep plugging away…nothing that I’ve read in any of your books has been stupid. Maybe beautiful, sentimental, lyrical and even weird (which I’ve especially loved) but never dumb.
