by Tons of sirens drew me downstairs last night. I don’t know what happened, but there was lots of FDNY activity, but no fire, on the corner last night. They checked the building, then put up police tape around that part of the block, and at that point I went home. Maybe I’ll see what is up when I go out later.
Did you find out? Was it maybe some sort of raid?
I never did find out, but the next day a bunch of work was being done on the building, which is still going on. I think it was a structural issue.
