Make Music New York, 2016

It was just one of those days and I wasn’t able to go around the city to hear various musicians playing outdoors for free. I also missed the yearly Night at the Museums, a favorite of mine. Both events were on the same day so some museums combined them, a win-win if there ever was one.

I was feeling kinda sorry for myself but I lucked out and caught one group as I was heading home. An all bassoon group playing, fittingly, a Mozart bassoon concerto which I love (and isn’t actually composed for all bassoons, but still). Thank you New York, musicians, and organizers.
