Shelf Cat is Going to the Vet. In THIS.

Yeah. We’re going out in this. I swear to God, the cats time their illnesses so that as long as they have to suffer, I must too. It’s always either the weekend or a storm.

Speaking of swearing, I am officially at my 2008 Lugging Things That Are Just a Little Bit Heavier Than What I can Manage limit.  I just cannot take lugging one more heavy thing down the street and up and down five flights of stairs. If I try, my head is going to explode.  Which means today, my head explodes.

But one must attend to a possible sick cat. I don’t think it’s anything serious, but he’s had intestinal issues that don’t seem to be going away.

I want to post about Obama and Rick Warren later, if I have the energy.

  1. I had to take my 15-pounder to the vet in last week’s rain storm. He hadn’t eaten in five days. The vet couldn’t find anything wrong with him (bloodwork the next day was fine), and when we got back from the vet, he ate. What we do for these guys.

  2. Ha! It’s so funny that you say that because I’m convinced that Buddy will also be fine the minute I get him back home!!

    Scared well, maybe?

  3. I hope Buddy (and his mom) are feeling better. And I hope the vet says everything is fine. You three keep warm!!
